Today's technology has created opportunities in cosmetic dentistry that can completely make over a smile.

Porcelain Veneers - Thin shells of laminated porcelain are custom made in a dental lab and bonded over the front of natural teeth to improve overall appearance or shape. This procedure is especially attractive to people who don't want to have their teeth prepared for conventional crowning, because the tooth reduction is extremely conservative. They are often used to improve the appearance of teeth that are worn, chipped, misaligned or discolored. They are a great option for closing gaps and disguising discolored teeth.
Zoom! Whitening - The Zoom! In-Office Whitening System is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure that is safe, effective and very fast. In just over an hour, teeth become dramatically whiter. As seen on ABC’s hit show “Extreme Makeover,” a strong bleach is applied to teeth in three 20-minute sessions, and it is activated by a special Zoom! Light. It is ideal for the busy individual who would find traditional bleaching time-consuming and cumbersome.

Crowns - Individual caps on specific teeth. Traditionally, crowns were made of porcelain fused to metal. Today’s crowns are all porcelain and are available in a form that is ready to be bonded directly to teeth. They are esthetically beautiful and look as natural as enamel, and may be used in many restorative situations.
Bonding - An option for chipped or cracked front teeth, bonding is a process that uses enamel-like resin that is applied to a tooth's surface. The resin is then sculpted and hardened with an ultraviolet light before being polished to create a picture-perfect smile. Newer materials are much stronger than traditional silver (amalgam) fillings and appear so natural it is often difficult to detect that any dental work was done.

Implants - A wonderful option for replacing one or more teeth, implants are very effective in restoring natural looks and function. Implants may also be used as anchors to secure dentures. A titanium screw anchor is placed in the patient's jaw, and a ceramic restoration is built around it and matched to the original tooth color. They are a viable option for patients who do not want removable partials.
Invisalign - Invisalign makes it easy to straighten your teeth without bands, brackets, or wires. In fact, virtually no one will know you are wearing Invisalign. By using a series of clear, removable retainers, Invisalign straightens your teeth right before your eyes... little by little towards the smile you've always wanted.
